Pre-Columbian Jamaica

Review
"As there are no recent surveys of Jamaica archaeology, this work is an extremely valuable contribution to the literature on the Caribbean. It is well organized, clearly written, and easily accessible by both professionals and others with a general interest in the field. The accompanying CD-ROM provides a wealth of new information that will make it well and widely received."

Welcome to Caribbean Archaeology Blog

The Caribbean Archaeology News blog is my latest blog to gather the latest headlines from around the web regarding the newest discoveries in Caribbean archaeology. We know south Florida tribes had contact with tribes in the Caribbean. We also believe at least one southeastern tribe, the Timucua, originated in South American and migrated to Florida and Georgia via the Caribbean. Thus Caribbean archaeology has a direct connection to many of the cultures I cover at LostWorlds.org.

Enjoy the new blog.
