Ancient Arsenal of Georgia

FirstAmerican02

Georgia's Native American Indians developed many weapons and tools to facilitate their day-to-day survival. Spears, atl-atl's (or spear throwers), bows and arrows, war clubs, and other inventions were used for defensive and offensive purposes.

Yet they also created fishhooks and stone & copper axes to help with their other day-to-day survival needs.

This exhibit is currently in the research phase. If you would like to help us make this interactive exhibit a reality, please consider making a donation or volunteer to help us research this important topic.
