Kolomoki Gallery Kolomoki Human Effigy This is a clay sculpture in the shape of a human that was found in Mound D, one of two funeral mounds at Kolomoki. It was one of a large cache of grave goods found in the burial of a high status person from Kolomoki. Notice the two birds on the figure's shoulders. This brings to mind the Rock Eagle effigy mound, the bird platform in the Earthlodge at Ocmulgee, and the dancing birdmen at Etowah.
