Ocmulgee Gallery                                                                            Ocmulgee Woodland Pottery The original inhabitants of Ocmulgee belonged to the Woodland culture. They were responsible for the first stages of mound building at Ocmulgee. They are identified by the different type of pottery they produced which was often stamped with geometric designs.
